On the Road

About 100 miles outside of Denver there is an advertisement for a Tower Museum. Apparantly you can see 6 states from the tower, plus all the rocks, bottles, and Indian arrowheads you can imagine. One lonely man guides the tour. There are 22 rooms jammed packed full of antique dishes, bottles, and rocks. There was so much stuff items were completely covering the walls and ceilings. And if you ever get a hankering to see a stuffed two headed cow, or an albino rattlesnake, you know where to go. The tower itself was a little scary and really old. Joe's shoulders barely fit in the staircase hallway. Unfortunately I didn't get any shots of the whole tower, but there are some good views from the top!
Somewhere in Kansas we pulled off the highwat to change Rock's diaper. Joe climbed the dirt mound and said in all directions, as far as he could see, were cornfileds. Pretty interesting day!

  1. Hmmm... I may be heading that way on my drive next week. Perhaps I shall check out this tower of which you speak...
